The Subway Surfers-style game for TikTok Live

Sunsprint City is a Subway Surfers-style endless runner built for TikTok Live: three lanes through a candy-colored railyard, trains to ride and barriers to vault, a patrol officer closing in behind you — and your viewers throwing monster trucks, rail slicks and jetpacks into the run with TikTok gifts. Every metre is scored on ScrollPlay's servers. It runs on Windows in the free ScrollPlay launcher.

An endless runner your audience gets to sabotage

The run itself is pure genre: swipe between three lanes, jump the barriers, roll under the signal gates, ride the train roofs, and keep the gap between you and the patrol from closing — every hit costs ground, and if the officer catches up, the run is over. Every metre run is a point; the coins you sweep up are counted on screen but never touch the score.

What makes it a stream game is that your audience owns the weather. A cheap combo gift drops a staggered wave of barriers onto the track ahead — always dodgeable, never a wall. Bigger gifts slick the rails to a crawl, send a rocket guy flying down the track fists-first to punch you backwards, or send monster trucks charging in head-on to shove you back down track you already cleared — and trucks stack, so a gift spike becomes a convoy. The one mercy is the jetpack: boosted flight above the obstacles on a trail of coins, priced in metres of ground gained, with a guaranteed safe landing. The finisher is the warp — a rainbow ring that swallows the runner and resets the entire run to the start line.

Cruel, but engineered to be fair

Sabotage that feels rigged kills a stream, so the rules are strict: a barrier drop clears its own landing zone first and can never build an unavoidable wall; the slick scales your speed but never takes the controls away; a knockback suppresses hazards while you're being dragged; and anything sent while you're mid-jetpack queues up and fires the moment you land — nothing a viewer pays for is ever swallowed. The audience decides how hard the run is; the game guarantees it stays a run.

Everything that decides the outcome is server-owned: the track seed, the distance and coin tally, the win goal and every gift amount, with a session nonce on every action. When the counter crosses the goal — or the warp wipes a 4,000-metre run at the last moment — the number your viewers are watching is the server's number.

Watching Subway Surfers vs. running an interactive one

Plenty of LIVEs screen-share the original mobile runner — but that's television: the audience can watch, and nothing they do touches the game. An interactive runner flips the relationship. In Sunsprint City your viewers are the obstacle generator, the rescue crew and the reset button, which is exactly why the format earns gifts: every send has a visible consequence in the next three seconds of the run. If your reference point is Temple Run rather than Subway Surfers, the promise is the same — an endless runner where the running is yours and the chaos is theirs.

Bind any TikTok gift to any action from the launcher, wire like-milestones and follows to triggers, set the win goal, and put the goal meter and action board on stream with Studio Mode. Sunsprint City is part of the ScrollPlay catalog — see pricing for what's included.

Frequently asked questions

How do TikTok streamers go live and play Subway Surfers?

Two different things get that name: screen-sharing the official mobile game (viewers just watch), or running a Subway Surfers-style interactive game where viewers actually affect the run. Sunsprint City is the second kind — a desktop runner captured in TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, with gifts, likes and follows wired into the gameplay.

Can viewers actually control the game with gifts?

Yes. Gifts drop barrier waves, slick the rails, punch the runner backwards, send stacking monster trucks head-on, strap on a jetpack, or warp the whole run back to zero. Every amount — metres of knockback, seconds of slick or flight, how many trucks — is enforced by the ScrollPlay server.

Is Sunsprint City the official Subway Surfers?

No. Subway Surfers is SYBO Games' trademark and ScrollPlay has no affiliation with them (nor with Imangi's Temple Run). Sunsprint City is an original endless runner in the genre, built specifically for TikTok Live.

What stops viewers making the game impossible?

Fairness rules are built into every sabotage: barrier drops always leave a dodgeable path, slicks never remove control, knockbacks suppress hazards while you're dragged, and mid-flight sabotages queue instead of vanishing. A busy chat makes a hard run, never an unwinnable one.

What do I need to stream it?

A Windows PC, the free ScrollPlay launcher, a TikTok account with LIVE access, and TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS to capture the game window. Viewers need nothing beyond TikTok itself.

Do streamers earn from an interactive runner?

Gifts convert to diamonds exactly as on any TikTok LIVE — the game's job is to make each gift worth sending by giving it an immediate, visible effect on the run everyone is watching.
