How to set up Studio Mode

Put a goal bar and a gift legend on screen, then get them into TikTok Studio.

   Open the Library — The docked panel of every widget you can drop in — goals, leaderboards, alerts, the gift legend.

   Pick a widget — Each tile is a real render of the widget, not an icon, so you can see what you are about to add before you add it.

   Drop it into the scene — Click to drop it in the middle, or drag it exactly where you want. The canvas is 9:16 — the shape TikTok Live actually shows.

   Capture it — Start Capture opens the transparent window TikTok Studio grabs with Window Capture. Or switch to Link mode and paste a URL into a browser source instead.

Point a Rose at one action and a bigger gift at another, and test it before you go live.

   It follows the running game — Actions always edits whatever game is on screen right now — there is no game picker to get wrong, and changes apply live without a relaunch.

   Choose the gift — Pick which TikTok gift fires this action. A cheap combo gift for the things you want happening constantly; save the expensive ones for the big swings.

   Set how big the effect is — The amount is what the server actually applies — planks laid, damage dealt, steps climbed. The server owns this number, so nobody can send a bigger one.

   Test before you go live — Test fires the action into the running game from here, so you find out what a Galaxy does to your bridge before an audience does.

Connect the broadcast, start the overlay window, and check that gifts are landing.

   Enter your TikTok username — One connection serves the whole session — gifts reach whichever game is running, and the overlay hears the same events.

   Connect while you are live — The connection only succeeds once your TikTok broadcast has actually started. Connect after you go live, not before.

   Choose how it reaches TikTok — Capture window for TikTok Studio's Window Capture, or a link to paste into a browser source. They keep separate layouts, because a 9:16 scene does not fit a 4:3 frame.

   Start the overlay window — This is the transparent surface your stream captures, and the only one that plays sound — the dashboard preview stays muted on purpose.
