About This Game
DEFUSE! is the cut-the-right-wire bomb scene, played out live with your viewers holding the clock. A bomb is strapped to a hostage, a bomb tech is working the wires, and the one number that matters is the fuse counting down at the top of the screen.
Every bomb plays out in three beats:
- The cut: the bomb tech cuts the wires by himself, one every few seconds, so you can talk to chat the whole time — or tap a wire to cut it yourself. A wrong tap sparks and burns ten seconds; it never ends the run.
- The fuse: every gift adds seconds or burns them, from an ice cube worth two seconds to a detonator that drops the fuse to three.
- LAST CHANCE: when the fuse hits zero the bomb waits. For twenty seconds (by default) a Hand Hearts gift buys the fuse back and saves the hostage.
Clear every wire and the next, harder bomb arrives by itself three seconds later. Lose one and you are sent back two levels to a fresh bomb, not back to the start — so a run lasts as long as your stream does.

These are the default bindings. Every amount is SECONDS of fuse and is set by the ScrollPlay server, so a help and a hurt of the same size cancel exactly; a combo multiplies the amount, except the Detonator and the Chain Reaction, which set the fuse instead of adding to it. A gift with no action bound to it does nothing. Rebind any gift or build custom actions in Studio → Actions.
Gameplay: the fuse is the number
DEFUSE! puts a hostage, a bomb and a tangle of wires on screen, with a big red fuse counting down above them. A bomb tech cuts the wires on his own, roughly one every six and a half seconds, so the streamer can spend the round talking to chat instead of squinting at a puzzle. Tapping a wire still cuts it: the right wire counts, a wrong one sparks and burns ten seconds off the fuse.
The bombs escalate: two wires at level one, three at level two and four from level three on, while the starting fuse shrinks from 64 seconds by four a level to a floor of 24. On the last wire the tech hesitates, and the higher the level the likelier he is to fumble it — three times in ten from level ten — which arms the bomb on the spot. The tangle's answer, every cut and every second are decided on the ScrollPlay server.
TikTok gift mechanics
As an interactive TikTok Live game, DEFUSE! prices every gift in seconds of fuse. A Rose clinks an ice cube onto the fuse for two seconds and a Rosa douses it with a bucket for twenty, while a TikTok splats slime for minus two, Gold Boxing Gloves slap off five and re-tangle the wires that are still tied, and Confetti runs a blowtorch along the fuse for twenty. A Doughnut is the gamble: scissors cut a random wire, which either counts or sparks for ten. Every effect lands within a second with the sender's name beside it.
The big gifts are the drama. A Galaxy presses the detonator and drops the fuse to three seconds; Leon the Kitten clamps a second bomb on, re-ties every wire and does the same. When the fuse reaches zero the bomb does not go off straight away: LAST CHANCE gives viewers twenty seconds, by default, to send Hand Hearts and buy back the time the last hit took. If nobody does, BOOM — and the run drops two levels to a fresh bomb instead of ending. Every binding is re-mappable from Studio → Actions.

No — DEFUSE! is one of ScrollPlay's free games. Open the browser launcher or Windows app, sign in, and it unlocks with no Play Pass. That is deliberate: it is the game to learn the interactive-stream format on before paying for anything.
How do TikTok gifts affect a DEFUSE! round?

A Rose, a Rosa and likes put seconds back on the fuse, and Hand Hearts are the rescue: when the fuse hits zero, LAST CHANCE opens for 20 seconds by default and one Hand Hearts sets the fuse back to what the last hit took away, never less than 20 seconds. That tug-of-war between the helpers and the saboteurs is the whole show.

How does scoring work in DEFUSE!?
The score is the number of bombs you defuse in a run, and every clear is recorded as a win. A bomb that goes off records nothing and sends you back two levels to a fresh one, so a run never ends on a single mistake; the setback is a setting from 0 to 5 levels, and the LAST CHANCE window one from 0 to 60 seconds. Each level starts with less fuse — 64 seconds at level one, four fewer per level, down to 24 from level eleven — and up to four wires. The right cut order is generated on the ScrollPlay server and never sent to the game.
