About This Game
Jaywalkin' is a voxel endless hopper. The board is an infinite strip of city rows — roads packed with traffic, rivers you cross on drifting logs, level crossings with trains that do not slow down — and one chunky chicken trying to get across. Every row reached is a point. The camera creeps forward behind you as the run goes on, and an eagle comes for anyone who falls too far behind it.
Everything that decides the run is owned by the ScrollPlay server: the seed the city is dealt from, the row tally, the win goal, and what every gift is worth. Every gift is priced in ROWS — the number a streamer sets IS the distance the hopper travels, in either direction — so a helping gift and a sabotage sized the same cancel out exactly. The score your viewers are watching, and the moment it crosses the goal, is the server's number and not the client's.
Your audience fights over the runner. The airlift is the one way forward: a giant voxel bird swoops in, snatches the hopper off the road and carries them up the strip. Everything else throws them back — a runaway steam train tears along their row and flattens them, a flying saucer tractor-beams them out of the frame and drops them somewhere behind, and boulders come rolling down the lanes an avalanche at a time. The finisher is the meteor: the sky goes out and the whole run burns back to the start line.
The bird is the one gift that reaches into a run that is already over. Sent after a death it picks the hopper up off the tarmac and the run carries on with its score intact, so a viewer can overrule the traffic — which makes it the most valuable thing anyone watching can send.

Audience Gift Mapping
Help the hopper
- Rose — airlift — a giant bird snatches the hopper off the road and carries them forward up the strip
Throw them back
- TikTok — boulder roll — rocks come down the lanes and bowl the hopper backwards; stack it for an avalanche
- Doughnut — UFO abduction — a saucer beams them out of the frame and drops them further back
- Gold Boxing Gloves — train smash — a runaway express tears along their row and flattens them
- Galaxy — meteor strike — the sky goes out and the whole run burns back to the start line
These are the default bindings. Every amount is ROWS and is owned and validated server-side: set a gift to 200 and it moves the hopper exactly 200 rows, so a helping gift and a sabotage sized the same cancel out. Streamers can rebind any gift or author custom actions from Studio Mode.
Gameplay: a crossing your chat referees
Endless hoppers are usually a solo test of nerve: read the traffic, time the gap, cross. Jaywalkin' keeps that and hands the other half of the game to the audience. The streamer supplies the route; the viewers supply everything else — a bird lifting the run forward on one side, trains, saucers and boulders throwing it back on the other.
The sabotages cost ground rather than the run, and that is the point. Because the score is the furthest ROW reached, being thrown back really does take something — it is distance that has to be crossed again, past the same traffic, with the camera still creeping forward. And because every gift is priced in the same unit in both directions, a chat can push a run forward and pull it back all night without the arithmetic ever favouring one side by accident.
Built for TikTok Live
Jaywalkin' runs inside the ScrollPlay launcher with a live connection to your TikTok stream. The game refuses to start without a verified session, and the server — not the game window — owns the seed the city is dealt from, the row tally, the win goal and every gift amount, with a session nonce on every action.
That matters because the score is the show. A row count is worth gifting over only if it cannot be faked — so when the counter crosses the goal your chat set out to reach, or a meteor wipes a monster run at the last moment, the number on stream is the server's number and the drama your viewers are watching is real.
Jaywalkin' — frequently asked questions
Is Jaywalkin' free to play?
Yes. Jaywalkin' is one of ScrollPlay's free-to-play titles, so you can install it and stream it without a Play Pass subscription, and the ScrollPlay launcher it runs inside is a free download too. You still need a ScrollPlay account and a Windows PC. Your viewers need nothing beyond the TikTok app.
How do TikTok gifts change a Jaywalkin' run?
Every gift is priced in rows, and that number is literally how far the chicken travels. On the default bindings a Rose sends the carrier bird that airlifts the hopper forward up the strip, while boulders, a UFO abduction and a runaway train shove them back down it, and a Galaxy meteor burns the whole run back to the start line. Because both directions use the same unit, a gift set to plus 200 and one set to minus 200 cancel out exactly. Every amount is computed on the ScrollPlay server, never by the game window.
What do I need to stream Jaywalkin' on TikTok Live?
A Windows PC, the free ScrollPlay launcher, and a TikTok account with LIVE access. You add the game window as a source in TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, then enter your @username in the launcher so gifts, likes and follows reach the game in real time. Your audience installs nothing at all.
Can viewers rescue me after the chicken gets flattened?
Yes, and it is the most valuable thing anyone watching can send. The carrier bird is the one gift that reaches into a run that has already ended: sent after a death it picks the hopper up off the tarmac and the run carries on with its score intact. Everything else in the default set only pushes the run backwards.
How does scoring work in Jaywalkin'?
The furthest row you reach is the score, and nothing else counts toward it. The ScrollPlay server owns the seed the city is dealt from, the row tally and the win goal, so the number your viewers watch climb is the server's number rather than the game client's. The world carries on below the start line, so a big enough shove really does drive the tally negative. Coins you grab on the board are a separate currency you spend on outfits in the game's city plaza, and they never touch the score.
