About This Game
Scribble Hop is a doodle-styled bounce-climber up an endless notebook page. The alien bounces on his own — the streamer only steers, sliding left and right to line up the next pencil-drawn platform, wrapping off one edge of the page and back in the other. There is no death state: miss everything and a paper plane swoops in, catches him and sets him back on a platform. Every metre climbed is a point, and every star collected on the way up is worth ten more.
Everything that decides the climb is owned by the ScrollPlay server: the seed the page is drawn from, the metre-and-star tally, the win goal, and what every gift is worth. Every gift is priced server-side in METRES — the number a streamer sets IS the distance the alien travels, in either direction — and fed into the sim as a tug-of-war, so the score your viewers are watching — and the moment it crosses the goal — is the server's number, not the client's.
Your audience fights over the pen. Jetpacks are the one way up: they stack, and a spike of them rockets the alien skyward, smashing straight through platforms. Everything else drags him down — screaming Karens grab on and haul him toward the bottom of the page, a shark leaps out of its bucket for the hardest single shove down, and a garden hose soaks the page so every bounce goes soft. The finisher is the eraser: the pencil flips over and wipes the climb — and with it the score — back to the start line, so a chat that wants a monster run has to defend it all the way to the goal.

These are the default bindings. Every amount is METRES and is owned and validated server-side: set a gift to 500 and it moves the alien exactly 500 m, so a helping gift and a sabotage sized the same cancel out. Streamers can rebind any gift or author custom actions from Studio Mode.
Gameplay: a climb your chat referees
Most bounce-climbers end the moment you miss a platform. Scribble Hop never does: a paper plane catches every fall, so the run keeps rolling for as long as the stream does, and the drama comes from the tug-of-war instead. The streamer supplies the steering; the audience supplies everything else — jetpacks stacking into a rocket ride up the page on one side, Karens, sharks and garden hoses dragging the alien down on the other.
The sabotages are designed to sting without killing the show. A Karen drop or a shark attack costs metres, not the run; the garden hose softens the bounces rather than stopping them; and the paper plane means there is no death to fall into. The one true finisher is the eraser, which wipes the climb — score and all — back to the start line: the biggest spectacle a viewer can buy, and the reason a chat protecting a monster run keeps paying to defend it.

Scribble Hop runs inside the ScrollPlay launcher with a live connection to your TikTok stream. The game refuses to start without a verified session, and the server — not the game window — owns the seed the notebook page is drawn from, the metre and star tally, the win goal and every gift amount, with a session nonce on every action.
That matters because the score is the show. Metres climbed plus ten per star is a number worth gifting over only if it can't be faked — so when the counter crosses the goal your chat set out to reach, or an eraser wipes a monster climb at the last moment, the number on stream is the server's number, and the drama your viewers are watching is real.

Do I need a Play Pass to play Scribble Hop?
Yes. Scribble Hop is part of the Play Pass catalog, so it needs an active subscription rather than a separate purchase. The ScrollPlay launcher itself is a free Windows download, and three titles, DEFUSE!, Jello Merge and Jaywalkin', are free to play if you want to test your capture setup first.
What happens when a viewer sends a gift mid-climb?
Gift amounts in Scribble Hop are metres, in both directions, so the number a streamer sets is the distance the alien actually travels. Jetpacks stack and rocket him up the page straight through the platforms, while Karens, a shark and a garden hose drag him back down it, and the eraser flips the pencil over and wipes the climb, score and all, back to the start line. The server computes every one of those amounts, so a heal and a shove sized the same cancel out exactly.

Stars only ever add.
Do my viewers need to install anything to join in?
No, they take part from the TikTok app with gifts, likes and follows while they watch. On your side you need a Windows PC, the free ScrollPlay launcher and a way to capture the game window, either TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS. Gift bindings and custom actions are set up in the launcher's Studio Mode.
