Hands-free TikTok LIVE games: let your viewers play
Some games don't need you on the controls at all. In a viewer-run game your chat's gifts are the moves; in an autoplay game the game plays itself while gifts push it around. Either way your hands are free for the part only you can do — talking to the people sending the gifts.

What “hands-free” means
Hands-free games come in two kinds. In viewer-run games there's nothing for the streamer to play: every gift is a move, and chat decides who wins. In autoplay games you switch on autoplay in the game's settings, and the game plays its own run while viewer gifts shove it forward and back.
Both keep the round moving between gifts, which is what makes them work on a quieter night — and both leave you free to host: calling the swings, reading out names, thanking the big gifts. That's why streamers sometimes call them AFK games. The controller is down; you're still there.
Viewer-run games: your chat plays
There's nothing for you to steer. Every gift is a move, and the audience decides who wins.
Bumper Brawl
Play PassYour viewers are the players. Any gift or a follow drops a viewer into a shrinking bumper-car rink as a car wearing their own TikTok profile picture. Their gifts power up their own car — nitro, bigger bumpers, a shockwave, a wrecking ball, a meteor shower — and the last car on the rink wins the round.

Play PassTwo towers, RED and BLUE, side by side. Chat picks a side and sends gifts to heal its own tower or hammer, blast and nuke the other one. First tower to the goal wins the round.

Play PassA split-screen pipe race. Each team floats its own bird forward or throws fists, fans, jets and a train at the other one. First bird to the goal wins.

Play PassTwo captains lay planks across a bottomless canyon. Chat builds for its side, sprints it ahead, freezes the other lane or tears its bridge out.

Turn on autoplay in the game's settings before you go live. The run plays itself, and gifts do the pushing.
Tumble Truck
Play PassA wobbly pickup over endless hills. Tailwinds carry it forward; potholes, boulders, storm gusts, a UFO and a monster truck shove it back — and a tornado throws it to the start line unless chat sends the rescue gift in time.

Play PassA one-tap tower stacker that keeps stacking on autoplay while viewer gifts chip, rocket and meteor it down — or heal it back up toward the goal.

Play PassA one-button 3D flyer. On autoplay the bird threads the pipe course by itself while chat's gifts float it ahead or knock it back.

- 1
Pick the kind that fits your chat
A big, lively chat suits a viewer-run game, where more viewers means more players. A smaller or quieter room suits autoplay, which keeps the run moving between gifts.
- 2
Switch autoplay on before you go live
For autoplay games, open the game's settings and turn on its autoplay option. Viewer-run games need nothing — the audience is the controller.
- 3
Put the gift menu on screen
Add an Action Board in Studio Mode so every viewer can see which gift does what without asking in chat.
- 4
Set a goal
Give each round a win goal, and add a Goal or Like Goal widget for the stream as a whole. A finish line is what gives a hands-free game its drama.
- 5
Host
Call the swings, read the names on the gift alerts, thank the big gifts and keep a running score between rounds. That's the job hands-free gives you time for.
Hands-free and “passive income”: what's realistic
Hands-free games are often pitched as passive income. The honest version: the game carries the gameplay, so every gift still lands on your LIVE while you focus on the audience. But gifts come from people enjoying a show, and the show is still you.
To see what a night of gifts is worth, run your numbers through the diamond calculator, and check the TikTok gift list for what each gift costs your viewers.
Hands-free TikTok LIVE games: FAQ
Are there AFK games for TikTok LIVE?
Yes, in the sense of games you don't have to play: viewer-run games like Bumper Brawl, Timmy's Tower Duel, Flap Dash Duel and Bridge Rush, and autoplay games like Tumble Truck, Timmy's Tower and Flap Dash. They free your hands, not your seat — stay on stream and talk to chat.
What's the difference between viewer-run and autoplay?
In a viewer-run game there's no player but the audience: gifts are the moves. An autoplay game is a normal game with a setting that lets it play its own run while gifts push it around — switch it off and you can play it yourself.
How do viewers join Bumper Brawl?
They send any gift or follow you. Their car drops into the rink wearing their TikTok profile picture, and their next gifts power it up. There's nothing to install.
Are hands-free games free?
The hands-free games are part of Play Pass, and Sunsprint City is Play Pass Pro. The launcher itself and its three free games cost nothing.
Can I leave a hands-free game running and walk away?
Don't. TikTok LIVE is meant to be live, and a stream that looks unattended risks being limited. Hands-free means you can put the controller down and host.
